Refunds and cancellation

Digital downloads: your 14-day right and how it ends

When you buy online you normally have 14 days to cancel. Our products are digital downloads you can access immediately, so:

  • Before you buy, the product page and checkout explain that you will lose the 14-day right once the download is made available.
  • Before checkout you will be asked to confirm your express consent to immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel, by ticking an unticked box: "I want immediate access to this digital content and I understand that I lose my 14-day right to cancel once the download is made available." You cannot continue without it.
  • After you buy, your order confirmation email repeats this consent and acknowledgement, so you have a durable record.

If you did not give that consent and acknowledgement, you keep your 14-day right to cancel and can ask for a full refund.

Faulty or not as described

Your Consumer Rights Act 2015 rights always apply. If a file is corrupted, incomplete or not as described, contact us within a reasonable time and we will replace it, or if we cannot, give a partial or full refund. Where you are entitled to a refund, it will be paid within 14 days of our agreeing that you are entitled to it, with no fees (Consumer Rights Act 2015, section 45).

Lemon Squeezy is the seller (merchant of record); Lumi Labz supplies and licenses the content. Refunds are paid by Lemon Squeezy. Lemon Squeezy's own terms say refunds are at its discretion, but we will instruct Lemon Squeezy to refund whenever the law or this policy requires it.

How to ask

Email [PLACEHOLDER - needs Christopher: brand email, e.g. hello@lumilabz.co.uk, not yet set up] with your order number. Refunds are paid by Lemon Squeezy, on our instruction, to your original payment method within 14 days of our agreeing the refund.

Books and apps

Books bought on Amazon follow Amazon's returns policy. App purchases follow Google Play's refund policy.
